Luna is our furry Glenview friend who we bring to nursery once a week. Luna is very calm and is great around the children. The children are supported and encouraged to interact gently with Luna. Children who may be a little unsure of dogs are supported in making progress for interaction with small steps. This has been working really well with children who are not confident around dogs.

When Luna attends Glenview we ensure everyone gets to see her and we are going to be working one to one with those we feel will benefit from a small scale interaction. When we can, we take a few children at a time to take Luna a walk in the community.

We are always updating our allergy forms and ensure Luna is not taken into any room where there is a child with a dog allergy.
